East Sussex is a welcome haven for walkers with over two thirds of the county covered by the High Weald and Sussex Downs Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There is also a wealth of picturesque villages, country houses and parkland hidden within its rolling landscape waiting to be discovered.

It makes Eastbourne and The Cherry Tree Guesthouse an ideal base for you to explore. And if you come back with sore feet we'll be happy to recommend a foot massage or some reflexology service to revitalize you!

Walking

A series of 45 circular walks have been established here in East Sussex to encourage visitors to enjoy our local countryside.
The routes are spread across East Sussex and range from 1.5 miles to 8 miles long.
